To Our Med Center Patients:
During this uncertain time, the team at Chevray Plastic Surgery remains committed to our exceptional level of patient care and safety. During this time, new precautionary measures have been placed at our offices which are located within the Houston Methodist Hospitals. While we understand these efforts may seem cumbersome at times, these screenings are necessary to ensure the health and safety of our patients, their family and our staff.
When scheduling an appointment:
When you call to schedule an appointment with our office, the staff will ask you a series of questions:

If you have traveled to any of the restricted travel countries or any of the U.S hostpot cities such as New York, Louisiana and California

Have a fever
-
Have a fever AND experiencing upper respiratory symptoms such as coughing and shortness of breath.
If you are experiencing any of these symptoms, you will be asked to reschedule your appointments and seek care from your primary care physician or via virtual care visits.

Entry & Screening Locations:

1st Floor Walter Tower, Valet entrance: 5:30 a.m. – 8 p.m.

OPC 2nd Floor (Between garage and clinic elevators): 5:30 a.m. – 8 p.m.

2nd Floor Smith Tower (by security desk): 5:30 a.m. – 8 p.m.

1st Floor Scurlock Tower: 1: 5:30 a.m. – 8 p.m.

2nd Floor Scurlock Tower: 24 hours

Scurlock Tower crosswalk (to Dunn Tower): 24 hours
Patients coming for appointments and scheduled testing:
Patients coming to the hospital for appointments and scheduled testing will be asked a series of questions about symptoms, have their temperature taken and be asked to wear a wristband. If patients are asymptomatic, they will be cleared to go to their appointment. If they are not cleared, they will be masked and instructed to go home, monitor their symptoms and consider seeking medical attention through a virtual visit.
ER Visits:
Any patient needing emergency care will be directed to the ER.
Visitors:
All outpatient office visits and appointments are not allowed to bring visitors to their appointments unless they are essential to the appointment. If a visitor is deemed necessary they must be over the age of 18 as well as pass all screenings prior to entering the facility.

Whether you are experiencing COVID-19 symptoms or want to avoid spreading or catching germs, you can speak to a Virtual Urgent Care provider 24/7.
